[The Final Match]
This morning, July 25th, 2020, the final match of the tournament took place between classes 63TH1: 1-1 and 62PM12 (penalties: 3-4).
Main events:
First half: From the very first minutes, the match was very open, with both teams exchanging attacks and many fierce tackles. Although the weather was a bit hot, affecting the quality of the game somewhat, we still witnessed some good plays from both sides. The first half ended without any goals being scored, and the two teams went into halftime.
Second half: After the halftime break, having regained their strength, the 62PM12 players launched a surprise counter-attack, scoring a goal to take a 1-0 lead thanks to NG. A. HOANG.
After conceding a goal, class 63TH1 continued to push forward in attack, and their relentless efforts paid off when, in the final minutes, they equalized 1-1 with a lightning-fast shot from Kien of 63TH1.
After the two halves of regulation time, the two teams entered a tense penalty shootout. Thanks to their composure and confidence, the players of 62PM12 defeated 63TH1 with a score of 4-3 and officially became the new champions of the "Traditional Football Tournament of the Faculty of Information Technology - University of Civil Engineering" 2020.

The rankings of the competition are as follows:
First prize: 62PM12
Second prize: 63TH1

Joint third place: 63IT3, 61TH12.
Outstanding player: Nguyen Duc Toan - 63TH1.

Following the match was the closing ceremony of the tournament, attended by the Faculty Board and faculty members of the IT Department, adding to the solemnity of the event. After three months of competition, the tournament has concluded successfully. We hope the tournament has provided a valuable platform for students of the Faculty of Information Technology to freely pursue their passion for football.
