GENERAL INTRODUCTION

Department of Software Technology was established on: June 21, 2001 (According to Decision No. 497/2001/QD-TCCB of the Principal on the establishment of the Department of Software Technology, Faculty of Information Technology).

The Department of Software Engineering is one of the core departments of the Faculty of Information Technology. The Department is responsible for teaching basic subjects of the IT industry and training in the major of Software Engineering  at the postgraduate and full-time undergraduate levels of the Faculty of Information Technology  for students of the Faculty of Information Technology. The Department is responsible for researching, applying, and developing specialized techniques and technologies in the field of Software Engineering.
