INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN TRAINING AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH

To improve the quality of training, promote scientific research, and strengthen international integration, the Faculty of Information Technology – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering has actively expanded its cooperative relationships with universities, businesses, and international organizations. These cooperative activities are implemented in diverse forms such as joint training programs, academic exchanges, collaborations with international businesses, and the organization of exchange programs and scientific conferences.

Collaborating with international businesses in training and recruitment.

One of the department's notable collaborative activities is the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Daiwa House Group – a leading construction and real estate development group in Japan. This cooperation agreement aims to promote the training of high-quality human resources in the field of information technology applied to the construction industry, while also opening up internship and employment opportunities for students after graduation.

Within the framework of cooperation, the Faculty of Information Technology jointly organized the program "Application of BIM in Leading Japanese Construction Companies & BIM Career Program" for students. The program focused on introducing the applications of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology in the management and operation of modern construction projects. Simultaneously, the BIM Career program, sponsored by Daiwa House Vietnam, supported students in participating in in-depth training courses on Autodesk Revit software, specialized Japanese language training, and created opportunities for internships and employment at the company. This is a practical activity that helps students gain early access to an international work environment and advanced technologies in the construction industry.

International training partnerships

Besides collaborating with businesses, the faculty also focuses on developing joint training programs with units inside and outside the university. A prime example is the collaboration with the Faculty of International Training to implement the 2+2 Computer Science program , in which students study the first two years at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and the following two years at partner universities abroad. This program helps students access an international learning environment, improve their professional skills and foreign language proficiency, and expand their future learning and career opportunities.

In addition, the department collaborates with the university's International Relations Office to organize counseling and information sessions on postgraduate programs at prestigious universities worldwide. These include programs offered by Singapore Management University in Singapore. These activities provide students with more information about opportunities for higher education and research in fields such as data science, artificial intelligence, and information technology.

Enhancing academic exchange and research cooperation.

The Faculty of Information Technology regularly organizes academic exchanges and international seminars to strengthen connections with scientists and educational institutions worldwide. One notable activity was an academic talk and exchange with representatives from the University of Wyoming in the United States. During the program, experts shared information about study and research opportunities and scholarships for students, and discussed new research trends in computer science and artificial intelligence.

In addition, the department encourages students to participate in international competitions and academic programs to enhance their research and innovation capabilities. Students from the department participated in a competition on the application of artificial intelligence in improving intelligent transportation systems organized by Beidou Group in Guangxi, China. Through these international academic platforms, students have the opportunity to access practical problems, improve their research skills, and work in a multinational collaborative environment.

Orientation for the development of international cooperation in the coming period.

In the coming period, the Faculty of Information Technology will continue to focus on expanding and improving the effectiveness of international cooperation activities. The focus will be on developing student exchange programs, credit exchange programs, and international internships with universities in South Korea and Japan. These programs will provide students with opportunities to study in an international environment, access advanced training methods, and enhance their global integration capabilities.

In addition, the department will continue to promote the organization of international scientific conferences and seminars with the participation of scientists and experts from many countries. This is an opportunity to strengthen academic exchange, develop new research directions, and enhance the department's position in the international scientific community.

Through the synchronized implementation of international cooperation activities in training, research, and business networking, the Faculty of Information Technology – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering is gradually affirming its role in training high-quality human resources to meet the development and integration requirements of the information technology industry in the digital age.
