On November 4, 2025, the Faculty of Information Technology and the Faculty of Economics & Construction Management (Hanoi University of Civil Engineering), through the coordination of the Department of External Relations and International Cooperation, collaborated with Singapore Management University (SMU) to organize a seminar on “Digital Transformation in the Age of Artificial Intelligence (AI)”. The program was presented by Dr. Kiruthika Ramanathan, Director of the Master of Information Technology in Business (MITB) program at SMU.
The event attracted 80 third-year and fourth-year students from the Faculty of Information Technology. During the workshop, students had the opportunity to learn about new technology trends, modern digital transformation models, and essential core competencies needed to adapt to the job market in the context of rapidly developing AI.
In addition to presentations from SMU experts, the program also introduced information about international scholarships, especially the Vingroup Young Talent scholarship for Vietnamese students studying the MITB program at SMU. This is an important opportunity for students to access a leading international training environment in the fields of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital transformation.
This thematic study contributes to broadening students' perspectives and enhancing their international integration capabilities, while also affirming the strategic direction of the Faculty of Information Technology in connecting training with businesses, international organizations, and prestigious educational institutions worldwide.
