The Faculty of Information Technology is extremely proud and delighted to announce that at the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2025 (HUCE-InTech 2025) , the Faculty of Information Technology has 4 outstanding student teams selected to participate in the Final Round .
According to Announcement No. 1587/TB-ĐHXDHN dated December 24, 2025, from the University regarding the preliminary round results, out of a total of 12 outstanding ideas from the entire University selected by the Judging Panel, the Faculty of Information Technology is honored to have 4 ideas with codes HI-2025-06 , HI-2025-14 , HI-2025-15 , and HI-2025-17 . This result continues the efforts of the Faculty of Information Technology in scientific research, innovation, and student entrepreneurship activities, and clearly reflects the quality of training linked to practical applications and modern technological trends .
Notably, among the ideas selected for the final round, the idea from the first-year students of K70 – IT3 class left a particularly strong impression and was highly rated by the judging panel . Despite being first-year students, they demonstrated mature problem-solving skills, flexible and creative application of technology , as well as a serious and responsible teamwork spirit. This result shows that students of the Faculty of Information Technology are exposed to technological thinking and innovative spirit from their first year, thereby gradually forming a favorable foundation for scientific research and entrepreneurship in subsequent years.
Specifically, the HI-2025-06 team , with the idea "Building a Q&A system and support for compliance checks on Vietnamese housing design standards," supervised by Dr. Hoang Nam Thang , consisted of students Do Quang Hop, Nguyen Viet Hung, Nguyen Tien Cong (class 68CS2 – Information Technology) and Ngo Thi Thuong (class 69KT1 – Construction Economics and Management). The idea was highly appreciated for its practical application and its ability to provide professional support in the construction field through the application of information technology.

Team HI-2025-14 – a standout project by first-year students of class K70, IT3 – presented the idea : “Developing an immersive simulation experience for freshmen to gain a realistic and comprehensive view of independent living,” guided by Lecturer Tran Van Tho . The team consisted of students Nguyen Ngoc Trung, Le Minh Tuyen, Vu Dinh Hao, Do Dao Khanh Chi, and Pham Thuy Dinh (all from class 70IT3 – Information Technology). This idea was highly praised by the judging panel for its humanistic approach, connecting technology with the learners' real-world experiences, and clearly demonstrating the students' quick thinking, creativity, and proactive spirit.
In addition, the HI-2025-15 team , with the idea "Building an Artificial Intelligence System to Support Student Learning and Regular University Admissions," supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duc Thoan , consists of students Trieu Quoc Dat, Nguyen Thai Son, and Dao Xuan Dung (Faculty of Information Technology). The idea clearly demonstrates the direction of applying artificial intelligence in higher education, in line with the current trend of digital transformation.
Team HI-2025-17 , with their idea "SmartRescue Modular Robot," led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duc Thoan, MSc. Nguyen Tran Hai, and MSc. Bui Thanh Phong , brings together students from the Faculty of Information Technology at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and students from the leading technical university, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. The idea was highly praised for its interdisciplinary nature, practical application in rescue operations, and clear social value.

Having four teams qualify for the HUCE-InTech 2025 Finals , especially the outstanding performance of first-year students from K70 – IT3 class , is not only a source of pride for the Faculty of Information Technology but also reflects the dynamic, creative training environment and early research- and entrepreneurship orientation of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.
In the coming period, when the HUCE-InTech 2025 Final Round is held, the Faculty of Information Technology will continue to accompany, support professionally, and create the best conditions for the competing teams to refine their ideas, maximize their capabilities, and confidently achieve the highest results.
