This morning, February 5th , in the vibrant, warm, and hopeful atmosphere of early spring, the Faculty of Information Technology solemnly organized a meeting to commend and interact with students who achieved outstanding results in the Student Olympic competitions (Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics), the Huce–Intech 2025 award, and the groups and individuals who won the HUNA Singing Contest 1 and 2 .
This is an opportunity to recognize and honor the proud efforts and achievements of students, and it is also a deeply meaningful activity in spreading the spirit of learning, scientific research, and participation in student movements throughout the Faculty right from the beginning of the new year.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Pham Duc Thoan , representing the Faculty's leadership, emphasized the Faculty of Information Technology's development direction for the coming period: putting students at the center, considering scientific research as the foundation, and academic, cultural, and sports activities as an environment for students' holistic development. He expressed pride in the outstanding achievements of the students and extended New Year's wishes for health and success to all students, hoping that the new year will continue to mark even more brilliant achievements for the students of the Faculty of Information Technology.
Continuing the program, Mr. Hoang Nam Thang – Head of the Computer Science chuyên môn group, Director of the Data Center – shared his heartfelt insights on the role and benefits of students actively participating in scientific research, attending Informatics Olympiads, AI competitions, and other prestigious professional competitions in the field of Information Technology held annually. His relatable and practical sharing further motivated and inspired students on their long-term academic and career development paths.
With many years of experience and direct leadership of Olympic teams, Professor Le Duc Quang sent sincere words of encouragement to the students, emphasizing perseverance, discipline, solidarity, and collective responsibility – important factors that help students conquer the heights of knowledge.
The atmosphere of the meeting continued to spread as Professor Dao Viet Cuong shared practical experiences from his studies, scientific research, and participation in academic competitions. Through his own stories and experiences, he inspired a spirit of eagerness to learn, a willingness to take on challenges, and a relentless pursuit of excellence in each student.
In addition, Ms. Hoang Thu Thuy and Mr. Nguyen Huy Hieu (former students of K55) also offered many practical and relatable pieces of advice, helping students gain clearer direction in their studies, scientific research, and personal skills development in the future.
The meeting concluded in a warm, proud, and positive atmosphere. The achievements attained today reflect the continuous efforts of the students, as well as the care and support of the Faculty of Information Technology and its faculty members. Entering the new year, we believe that the students of the Faculty of Information Technology will continue to be confident and capable, conquering new heights in their studies, scientific research, and student activities.
