🌤️ On the morning of October 19, 2025 , at the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering campus, the Faculty of Information Technology (FIT-HUCE) enthusiastically organized the Team Building program “Welcome K70” – a special event for 717 new students from 6 majors and specializations :
Construction Informatics – Information Technology – Computer Science – Multimedia Technology – Information Security – Data Science.
💫 A lively atmosphere – Fostering a sense of unity among the students.
From 7:00 AM onwards, the campus grounds and library lobby were filled with the vibrant blue uniforms of IT students. Fourteen classes from the K70 cohort eagerly participated in check-ins and took commemorative photos with their teachers, guests, and sponsors. The resounding shouts of " FIT-HUCE – K70 – Give it your all! " enlivened the entire bright Sunday morning.
The program was enthusiastically led by alumnus Dao Dinh Duong (Class 61MHT) – Director of FT Group Tourism, Events and Experiential Education Company, and also one of the main sponsors of the event.
The event began with lively performances by the IT Department's Student Volunteer Team , featuring energetic group dances and catchy slogans that made the entire campus erupt with music, laughter, and continuous applause. This youthful and vibrant atmosphere was the perfect start before the formal welcoming ceremony.
Continuing the program, Dr. Le Thi Thuy Duong – representing the Faculty Board – extended warm congratulations to all the new students of K70, young, dynamic, creative, and capable individuals – the generation that continues the proud tradition of the FIT-HUCE family.
In particular, Associate Professor Dr. Doan Tam Hoe – the first Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology – delivered a heartfelt speech and offered passionate advice to the new students. He expressed his emotion and pride in welcoming the 70th generation of students – a significant milestone in the Faculty's development journey – while emphasizing the spirit of continuous learning, boundless creativity, and strong unity – core values that have shaped the identity of FIT-HUCE for nearly three decades.
🏆 Overcoming challenges together – Strengthening team spirit
The Teambuilding section – the "heart" of the program – was full of energy with a series of physical games requiring coordination, quick thinking, and teamwork . Twelve teams – representing 14 classes of K70 – competed in rounds such as " Sack Race - Ball Shooting ," " Relay Ball Carrying ," " Climbing the Hill with an Inflatable Ball ," and " Inflatable Boat Race - Ball Throwing "...
💬 Cheers echoed throughout the school grounds:
K70 – Undeterred by the wind, as long as we have teammates, we'll give our all!
"FITers, move forward – unity is strength!"
One of the most memorable aspects of this year's program was the enthusiastic participation of the teachers and representatives from the sponsors . Instead of just observing from the sidelines, the FIT-HUCE teachers rolled up their sleeves and joined in the games with the students. The images of the teachers smiling brightly, running relay races, or shaking hands and cheering on their teams brought the entire campus to life with excitement.
There is no longer a distance between "teacher" and "student," between "business" and "student"—but rather one big IT family sharing, having fun, and bonding together .
Many students shared that the moments spent playing and cheering together with their teachers and business associates helped them clearly feel the friendly and close-knit spirit of the faculty. It wasn't just "team building," but truly "heart building"—building connections from the heart!
The teams displayed a fierce yet friendly and cheerful fighting spirit, truly embodying the spirit of IT students – logical, creative, and equally passionate!
🎓 Meet – Recognize – Inspire
Within the framework of the program, the sponsor ITPlus Academy – represented by its General Director, Mr. Hoang Van Thang – shared inspiring insights and awarded scholarships to encourage academic achievement through courses for the valedictorians, salutatorians, and class officers of K70, totaling 166,800,000 VND , recognizing the efforts of outstanding students from their very first days of enrollment.
In addition, the program would like to express its sincere gratitude for the support of:
VSL Corporation – Mr. Tran Duc Lan , General Director and former student of Class 37TH, sponsored 30,000,000 VND for this K70 welcoming ceremony.
