Within the framework of the traditional student sports event β HUCE Sport Fest 2026 organized by Hanoi University of Civil Engineering , students from the Faculty of Information Technology actively participated in the competition with a large contingent, demonstrating the vibrant sporting spirit, solidarity, and enthusiasm of youth. πββοΈβ½πΈ
In 2026, the Faculty of Information Technology's student delegation consisted of 96 students participating in competitions across 9 sports : tug-of-war, badminton, chess, Chinese chess, table tennis, pickleball, men's volleyball, men's football, and basketball. The competitions included both individual and team events, attracting students from various years and classes within the faculty.
In the tug-of-war competition , the student team consisted of the following athletes: Luong Anh Minh, Ngo Thi Thuy Linh, Pham Thuy Dung, Ninh Thi Thanh Van, Dang Thi Khanh Vy, Le Quang Minh, Luu Bao Han, Pham Tien Quang, Nguyen Ngoc Hoan, Pham Quoc Anh, Ha Viet Vinh, and Phan Canh Duong.
In badminton , students from the faculty participated in both men's and women's events, with notable athletes including: Hoang Bao Khanh, Luu Minh Hieu, Nguyen Minh Duc, Pham Ngoc Hai Vu, Nguyen Xuan Cuong, Vu Duy Thanh, Nguyen Tuan Dat, Nguyen Tien Huy, Nguyen Xuan Loc, Phung Thanh Loc, Tran Bao Tu, Nguyen Khanh Toan, Nguyen Hoang Anh, Ha Phuoc Minh Tan, Hoang Ky Anh, Nguyen Ngoc Dung, and Truong Thi Thu Huyen.
Intellectual sports such as chess and Chinese chess also saw the participation of many IT students, including: Ngo Xuan Trung, Truong Minh Quan, Nguyen Thanh Hai, Tong Thien Bao, Nguyen Vu Tuan Thanh, Hoang Nguyen Khanh, Dinh Quoc Hoc, Nguyen Tien Duy, Nguyen Minh Duc, Nguyen Huu Manh, Do Xuan Tuyen, Nguyen Tien Dung, Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Ha Quang Hoa, Pham Gia Bach, Tran Nhu Dai Manh, Nguyen Minh Hien, Pham Xuan Thai, Tran Viet Hoang, and Dinh The Ngoc.
In addition, in other individual sports such as table tennis and pickleball, the participating students included: Nguyen Hoang Anh, Nguyen Dinh Minh, Bui Ngoc Sang, Vuong David, Nguyen Duong Nhat Minh, Nguyen Hong Ha, and Duong Manh Huan.
For team sports , students from the Faculty of Information Technology also participate with a strong contingent:
- The men's volleyball team is captained by student Le Quang Khai, with members: Phan Canh Duong, Dao Bao Viet, Nguyen Khac Tuan, Phung Doai Anh, Vu Minh Hieu, Do Hai Dang, Vu Vi Manh Tien, Nguyen Viet Manh, Le Viet Anh, and Vu Tien Dung. π
- The men's football team is captained by student Doan Duc Huy and includes the following players: Luong Hoang Son, Le Cong Viet, Nguyen Viet Duc, Nguyen Van Lam, Le Viet Anh, Nguyen Minh Nguyen, Tran Thien Quang, Dao Minh Nhat, Pham Quoc Khanh, Nguyen Minh Duc, Nguyen Duy Phong, Nguyen Anh Duc, Ha Phuoc Minh Tan, Dao Ngoc Chinh, Vo Quoc Anh, and Nguyen Van Nguyen. - The basketball team is captained by student Pham Phi Long, with members: Nguyen Duy, Phung Dac Long, Bui Duc Nhat, Truong Dinh Anh, Pham Van Trung Hieu, Nguyen Huy Hung, and Phan Canh Duong. π
The large participation of 96 students from the Faculty of Information Technology at HUCE Sport Fest 2026 not only contributed to the vibrant competitive atmosphere of the traditional sports event but also demonstrated the dynamic spirit, solidarity, and active participation of students in the faculty in extracurricular activities.
