🤝 The Faculty of Information Technology – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering signs a Memorandum of Cooperation with Daiwa House Vietnam Company
Today, September 11, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering between the Faculty of Information Technology and Daiwa House Vietnam Co., Ltd. This is an important event, opening up many opportunities for comprehensive cooperation in the fields of training, research, and recruitment of high-quality human resources.
On the part of the Faculty of Information Technology, there are:
- Dr. Le Thi Thuy Duong – Deputy Head of Department, in charge of the Department
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duc Thoan – Deputy Head of Faculty
- Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Nhu – Head of the Construction Informatics chuyên môn group
- Dr. Do Quoc Hoang – Construction Informatics Specialist Group
- Dr. Nguyen Bang Giang – Mathematics Specialist Group
- Ms. Bui Thanh Huong, M.Sc. - Computer Engineering Specialist Group
- Together with the entire Construction Informatics expert team.
Representing Daiwa House Company were:
- Ms. Junko Ishizaki – Member of the Board of Directors, Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd., Japan
- Mr. Yasughi Nishikawa – Head of Overseas Sales, Parent Company
- Mr. Yamazaki Shunsuke – Deputy General Director of Daiwa House Vietnam Co., Ltd.
- Mr. Tobagus Nouval Haedar: Manager of Daiwa House Group's subsidiary in Indonesia.
- Ms. Pham Thi Nhu Quynh – General Manager of PBO Centers, Daiwa House Vietnam Co., Ltd.
- Ms. Do Minh Hang - Head of Administration and Human Resources Department, Company Limited Daiwa House Vietnam .
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Thi Thuy Duong , Deputy Head of the Faculty of Information Technology, emphasized:
“The cooperation agreement with Daiwa House not only opens up internship and job opportunities for students but also helps the Faculty of Information Technology gain deeper access to new business trends, especially the application of IT in the field of modern construction.”
She also expressed her sincere gratitude to Daiwa House Company for its continuous support of the Construction Informatics department over the past time, especially for creating opportunities for students to visit, intern, and experience the real working environment at the company. These supports not only help students gain more knowledge and professional skills but also provide them with motivation and confidence in choosing and pursuing their future career paths.
Representing Daiwa House, Mr. Yamazaki Shunsuke , Deputy General Director of Daiwa House Vietnam, affirmed:
“We are very impressed with the students majoring in Construction Informatics and look forward to collaborating with the Faculty of Information Technology in training and developing high-quality human resources to serve the company's long-term development strategy.”
Immediately after the signing ceremony, the Daiwa House delegation visited the classrooms and computer labs of the Faculty . The atmosphere in the classrooms became lively and warm as students expressed their joy at meeting Daiwa House leaders in person. Many students said they had previously visited and interned at the company and were left with many positive impressions. They shared , “We are very happy to meet Daiwa House leaders in person right in the classroom. Previously, I had the opportunity to visit and intern at the company and felt the professional and friendly working environment. We hope that after graduation we will have the chance to become members of Daiwa House.”
This activity not only gives Daiwa House a realistic view of the training environment but also motivates and instills confidence in students about their future career paths.
The two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the following objectives:
- Coordination in training and recruitment: Daiwa House will commission recruitment, accept students majoring in Construction Informatics for internships and employment after graduation; support skills training programs, especially in Japanese language and BIM software (Revit).
- Supporting student development: Assisting in organizing seminars, company visits, and career orientation for students; participating in the recruitment promotion activities of the Faculty of Information Technology.
- Research and development: Both sides will jointly consider expanding cooperation in research and training in areas related to the application of IT in construction.
