With the aim of bringing students closer to the real-world working environment, yesterday, first-year students of the Multimedia Technology major – Faculty of Information Technology, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering had a valuable study tour at the Special Topics and Education Department, Vietnam Television.
Here, students had the opportunity to learn about the television production process, experience a professional working environment, and listen to valuable insights from experienced journalists, editors, and technicians. In particular, many students had their first glimpse of a studio, modern equipment, and television editing and special effects technology.
This is not only an opportunity for students to broaden their knowledge and define their passions, but also a starting point for connecting theory with practice – a crucial element in pursuing this creative and dynamic profession.
The delegation was honored to be directly welcomed by journalist Nguyen Truong Thanh - Deputy Head of the Science and Education Special Programs Department, Vietnam Television; Meritorious Artist - Film Director Ta Quynh Tu - Head of the Documentary Film Department, Science and Education Special Programs Department; and Editor Nguyen Duy Manh - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Science and Education Special Programs Department. They shared information about the Department's activities and answered some questions from students about their experience and professional expertise.
Students from the K69 CNDPT cohort had the opportunity to visit and learn about the studio, tour the virtual set, and learn about recording and editing equipment, as well as the television program operation system – crucial links in the professional content production process at VTV.
The trip provided strong motivation and inspiration for the students on their path to becoming future designers, editors, and visual directors.
Here are some of the most memorable moments from this tour:
