This morning, January 17th, 2026, the Faculty of Information Technology solemnly held the opening ceremony of the traditional FIT Football Student Tournament 2025-2026 season in an exciting, vibrant, and enthusiastic atmosphere. The tournament is not only an annual sporting event but also a meaningful activity in promoting physical fitness, strengthening team spirit, and building a healthy cultural life for students of the Faculty of Information Technology.
This year's FIT Football has a special character with many outstanding features:
⚽ 28 teams participating – the largest scale ever, creating a vibrant and exciting competitive atmosphere.
🤝 Two alumni teams (classes 47-48-49 and 62-63) , bringing together FIT alumni from all over the country, returned to their alma mater to continue the spirit of sportsmanship and the tradition of connecting generations.
🎉 This tournament is the opening event for a series of activities celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Faculty of Information Technology , marking the Faculty's journey of formation, development, and growth.
From the opening ceremony, the teams demonstrated a serious, honest, and noble spirit of competition, determined to deliver spectacular matches. FIT Football 2025–2026 promises to be a season bursting with emotion, spreading the spirit of sportsmanship, the spirit of FIT, and leaving many profound impressions on students, lecturers, and alumni.
