FACULTY OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LAUNCHES SPECIALIZED GROUPS
On September 9, 2025 , Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) solemnly held the launching ceremony for the specialized groups within the Faculty of Information Technology, along with specialized groups from other units within the university. This event marks an important step in the Faculty's strategy, aiming to improve the quality of education, promote scientific research, and foster innovation in the fields of information technology and applied mathematics.
The specialized groups that have been established include:
Software Technology - Team Leader: Dr. Tran Khanh Dung
Computer Science - Team Leader: Dr. Hoang Nam Thang
Computer Systems and Network Engineering - Team Leader: Dr. Le Thi Thuy Duong
Computer Engineering - Team Leader: Ms. Bui Thanh Huong
Construction Informatics - Team Leader: Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Nhu
Mathematics - Team Leader: Dr. Nguyen Bang Giang
Applied Mathematics - Team Leader: Ms. Hoang Thu Thuy, M.Sc.
The establishment of specialized groups not only leverages the unique strengths of each field but also facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration, promotes cooperation between faculty, students, and businesses, and expands research activities both domestically and internationally. This will be the foundation for building a modern academic environment that encourages research and innovation, meeting the increasingly high demands of society in the era of digital transformation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The launch event is a significant step forward, affirming the pioneering role of the Faculty of Information Technology – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering in training and research, making a positive contribution to the development of the University and the country.
