"AI RESEARCH CAMP FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS" AT GUANGXI UNIVERSITY (CHINA)
Within the framework of the student exchange program between Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) and Guangxi University (China) , the Faculty of Information Technology is honored to have 3 students selected to participate in the “Guangxi University International Student AI Research Camp” , which took place from December 14th to December 21st at Guangxi University.
Joining the delegation of students from Hanoi University of Civil Engineering were two students from the Faculty of Bridge and Road Engineering, bringing the total number of students from the University participating in the program to five. These students possess strong academic abilities, a high level of learning spirit, and the capacity for international integration , and were selected with confidence by the University and its faculties.
Three students from the Faculty of Information Technology had the honor of participating in the program, including:
Vu Hoang Giang – Class 66MHT
Nguyen Khanh Chi – Class 67CS2
Dao Ngoc Long – Class 68CS2
Two students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering had the honor of participating in the program:
Nguyen Van Tang – Class 66CD3
Nguyen Anh Thu – Class 69LGT
According to the Organizing Committee's plan, the "AI Research Camp for International Students" program will last 8 days with rich content, combining academics, technological experiences, and cultural exchange . Students will participate in typical activities such as: the program's opening ceremony, academic lectures on artificial intelligence , AI experiential classes, visits to the virtual reality lab, simulation and experimentation center , group work, and exhibitions of research products by international students.
In addition, the program also organizes many cultural and social exchange activities such as experiencing folk dance, Tai Chi, traditional Chinese art, visiting the Guangxi Science and Technology Museum, AI businesses, as well as seminars on AI, learning and life , contributing to helping students broaden their knowledge, enhance soft skills and cross-cultural communication abilities.
The selection of students from the Faculty of Information Technology to participate in this program not only demonstrates the prestige and quality of training of the Faculty and the University , but also affirms the orientation towards promoting internationalization in training, scientific research, and the development of high-tech human resources . This is also a valuable opportunity for students to access an international academic environment, update themselves on new trends in the field of artificial intelligence, thereby enhancing their professional capabilities and career orientation for the future.
The program is expected to further strengthen the cooperative relationship between Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (Faculty of Information Technology) and Guangxi University , opening up many opportunities for student and faculty exchange and research cooperation in the future.
