Today is Monday, May 30, 2022. We – first-year students of the K66 Information Technology (IT) Faculty, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering – had a field trip to FPT Software Hoa Lac, a subsidiary of the FPT Group. Although it suddenly started raining at midday, our class still gathered on time at the Pyramid in front of building A1.
Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, which brought all activities to a standstill, we had to spend a semester studying online at home. This was truly a valuable opportunity for all members to gather, meet in person, get to know each other, and build relationships. Everyone felt excited and enthusiastic.
After taking graduation photos at the Pyramids, the whole class boarded a bus to FPT Software Hoa Lac, the destination of today's internship tour. The time on the bus was an opportunity for the students to showcase their singing talents.
A lively time on the bus
After an hour's drive, we finally arrived at FPT Software Hoa Lac. It was far different from what I had imagined of a modern technology park, with advanced machinery and faces always tense with thought. FPT Software Hoa Lac, also known as F-ville, is surrounded by quiet villages, sparsely populated, free from smog and pollution, and inhabited by people full of enthusiasm and passion.
To begin the tour, we were given insights into FPT – Vietnam's largest technology group. We were also introduced to the group's member companies, such as:
- FPT Software
- FPT Information System
- FPT Telecom
- FPT Online
- FPT Education
- FPT Investment
- FPT Smart Cloud
- FPT Digital
Next, we also got to know... Regarding HR positions within the company such as: Coder, Tester, Technical Leader, Project Manager, Product Manager, Solution Architect, BA, etc., "If you were a recruiter, what criteria would you use to select employees?"
For me personally, the most important criteria are:
- First, there's the GPA.
- Next comes professional skills.
- Foreign language proficiency
- Soft skills (macro, teamwork, etc.)
- Problem-solving ability
- And finally, there's passion and love for the job .
After the introductions, my class split into small groups and toured the working environment at F-Ville. The complex is divided into F-Ville 1, designed to resemble a Northern Vietnamese village, and F-Ville 2, which evokes a miniature Hanoi, connected by a walkway lined with large, shady trees.
With its constant bus service throughout the day, connecting the polluted urban area with F-ville, Hoa Lac has left me with so many emotions that are difficult to express in words.
I think everyone should experience visiting F-Ville at least once. And you'll be like me, regretting not visiting Hoa Lac sooner. I believe Hoa Lac is charming and refreshing.
The vibrant rose garden blankets the entire building in lush greenery.
A unique koi fish pond.
The delicious straw-thatched restaurant overlooks the fish pond.
AZZAN coffee is so fragrant it's addictive. /span>
The gym is surrounded by glass walls.
The iced tea stall was bustling.
And you, what do you think of F-ville Hoa Lac? I believe that the truly poetic moments here will be unforgettable. F-ville Hoa Lac, WHERE TO GET THE BALANCE RIGHT.
