On June 21, 2020, the University of Civil Engineering participated in the 2020 Admissions Counseling Fair held on the campus of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, along with 59 universities, colleges, and vocational schools in the Hanoi area, with over 90 booths providing career guidance for students. Given the many changes to the 2020 high school graduation exam and university/college entrance exam due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Tuoi Tre newspaper decided to continue collaborating with the Ministry of Education and Training and the General Department of Vocational Education (Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) to organize the 2020 Admissions Counseling Program.
This is the 18th consecutive year that the Admissions and Career Guidance Program initiated by Tuoi Tre Newspaper has been organized, and the 10th year that Tuoi Tre Newspaper has collaborated with the Ministry of Education and Training, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, and Hanoi University of Science and Technology to organize the Admissions and Career Guidance Fair. The aim is to help students and their families access and understand the latest information about this year's entrance exam, learn about exam regulations and professions, and gain knowledge to guide their career choices, selecting suitable majors and universities based on their abilities and interests.
At the event, 12th-grade students, along with their parents and teachers, had the opportunity to exchange information, have their questions answered, and receive official information related to the 2020 National High School Graduation Examination and university/college admissions. In addition to the counseling provided by the organizers, students could meet and interact directly with representatives from the schools they were interested in at the school's booth, thus having their admissions questions answered.
In 2020, the University of Civil Engineering participated for the fifth time in the admissions counseling fair organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper. The organization was meticulously prepared, from the counseling booth and exhibition space to the counseling content for prospective students. In particular, the counseling staff were always ready to directly answer any questions about the university's admission methods, training programs, recent years' admission scores, career opportunities, etc., for interested students and parents, attracting a large number of students and their families seeking advice.
