On January 30, 2026, the Software Technology Professional Group (NCM) successfully organized the first graduation project defense ceremony for engineering students of the 66th cohort. With nearly 50 students graduating in this first batch, the NCM organized three professional evaluation committees.
A highlight of this year's thesis defense was the participation of Lecturer Nguyen Dinh Quy, M.Sc., from the Computer Science Faculty, as a member of the council. This collaboration not only demonstrates interdisciplinary cooperation but also allows for a more in-depth evaluation of topics with strong technological intersections.
According to the judging panels, this year's projects showed a clear shift in technological content. Students proactively embraced the latest trends of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, notably:
Integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into traditional software solutions.
Applying Blockchain technology in data management and transparency.
Deploy the system on modern architectural platforms such as Microservices, Multi-tenant, and SaaS .
Some of the outstanding topics that made a strong impression on the panel include:
Analysis and design of a trading floor with a sports arena based on a Microservices architecture.
Analysis and design of a Blockchain-based Carbon Credit Management System in Vietnam.
Building a restaurant management system based on the SaaS model - RestaurantPro.
Design and build a Social Listening solution using a multi-tenant model.
The success of the thesis defense affirmed the quality of training and the ability of software engineering students to quickly adapt to the increasingly demanding requirements of the labor market in the digital age.
Congratulations to the new engineers, and we hope you will continue to achieve great success in your future careers!
