On April 8th and 15th, 2025, first-year students from classes 69IT1-69IT6 and 69TH1-69TH3 had a meaningful field trip to FPT Software at Hola Park, Lang Hoa Lac – one of Vietnam's leading technology companies. This was an introductory activity within the orientation program and a practical connection to the students' field of study. The faculty and students of the IT Department, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, were deeply grateful for the warm welcome from the company, represented by:
1) Ms. Pham Thi Huyen Nga – Head of Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Department, FPT Software,
2) Mr. Vu Dang Tinh – Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Specialist, FPT Software
During the visit, the students participated in the following main activities:

The lecturers not only shared practical knowledge about the professional work environment but also provided insightful perspectives on careers in the IT field, especially the development of soft skills and Agile – a flexible and effective work model that is being widely applied. The lectures provided a wealth of important and useful knowledge. The lecturers and students were deeply impressed by the lectures because they were meticulously designed, professional, insightful, engaging, and captivated not only the students but also the accompanying lecturers.

Through this trip, the students gained a better understanding of FPT-Software's corporate culture; grasped the trends and requirements of the IT labor market; and accumulated motivation and clearer learning directions for the future.
👏 This trip not only opened doors to knowledge but also ignited a passion for technology in future engineers! Simultaneously, it opened up several opportunities for collaboration between FPT Software and the Faculty of Information Technology - Hanoi University of Civil Engineering. The first step in this collaboration was the participation of students from the faculty in the IoT competition organized by FPT Software at the end of May.
