CONNECTING EDUCATION AND BUSINESS: WOH HUP VIETNAM SIGNS MOU WITH 4 FACULTIES OF HUCE

On May 13, 2026, in line with the growing trend of strengthening ties between universities and businesses to improve training quality and expand career opportunities for students, WOH HUP Vietnam officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with four faculties of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering: the Faculty of Information Technology, the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction, the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management, and the Faculty of Architecture & Planning.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of WOH HUP Vietnam were Mr. Phan Manh Quyet – General Director of the company, Ms. Trinh Thu Thuy, and other company representatives. On behalf of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering were Dr. Le Thi Thuy Duong – Vice Head of the Faculty of Information Technology; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Anh Tuan – Head of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Toan – Head of the Faculty of Construction Economics & Management; Dr. Nguyen Cao Lanh – Head of the Faculty of Architecture & Planning, along with numerous lecturers and staff from various faculties.

The signing ceremony took place in an open, professional, and cooperative atmosphere. Representatives from both sides exchanged views on development directions, the need for high-quality human resources, and the trend of digital transformation in the construction sector, especially the application of BIM technology in design, construction, and project management.

According to the cooperation agreement, WOH HUP Vietnam and the faculties will collaborate on many practical activities such as: training tailored to business needs, organizing professional seminars, supporting BIM/Revit skills and specialized English, company visits, accepting student interns, and expanding job opportunities after graduation.

The parties aim to promote training activities linked to business practices, creating opportunities for students to access international working environments, enhance professional skills, and improve their ability to integrate into the rapidly transforming construction industry alongside digital technology.

Speaking at the event, representatives from WOH HUP Vietnam affirmed their desire to collaborate with the University in developing high-quality human resources to meet the increasingly demanding requirements of the labor market. On behalf of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, the faculties committed to strengthening the connection between training, research, and businesses, contributing to improving the quality of education and practical skills for students.
