On the evening of October 9, 2023, 96 outstanding valedictorians graduating from universities and colleges in Hanoi in 2023 had the honor of being present at the Temple of Literature - National University to have their names inscribed in the city's traditional Golden Book. The inscription ceremony is a meaningful ritual for these outstanding valedictorians, as their names are preserved in Hanoi's traditional Golden Book.
On the evening of October 10th, the Hanoi City Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee solemnly organized a ceremony to honor outstanding valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in the city in 2023. The ceremony was held in a dignified manner at the Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giám Cultural and Scientific Activities Center.
2023 marks the 21st time that Hanoi has organized the ceremony to honor outstanding valedictorians graduating from universities and colleges in the city. This activity demonstrates Hanoi's consistent and profound concern for the education, training, and nurturing of the younger generation; it also serves as recognition and commendation for the academic achievements, personal development, and striving spirit of Hanoi's students.
