On the evening of December 25, 2023, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUE), in collaboration with the Fund for Supporting Talented Students in Civil Engineering (FSC), organized the "CSC Award Ceremony 2023 (11th Edition)" to honor the most outstanding students of HUE in the 2022-2023 academic year.
The CSC Award is an annual award given by the FSC Foundation to outstanding students of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, starting in 2011. The 2023 CSC Award Scientific Council consists of 7 members and works through a secret ballot to select the deserving winner from 11 candidates. The most outstanding candidate will be the recipient of the prestigious 150 million VND award, becoming the second student from the Faculty of Information Technology to win the award (after Mai Thi Anh Hong - 59PM2, winner of the 2019 CSC Award).
This year , the Faculty of Information Technology is honored that Duong Cong Son, a student majoring in Computer Science, has won the CSC Award 2023, beating many other candidates.
Duong Cong Son is one of the outstanding students in his studies. Some of his notable achievements during his studies and research include:
- Average GPA: 4.00
- Six scientific articles published in specialized journals and conferences in 2023.
- Received Master's and PhD scholarships from the VnIF Foundation of Vingroup.
- 2 first prizes and 4 second prizes in the scientific research competition.
- Third prize in the student startup innovation competition.
- Awarded the title of "Excellent Student" at the city level.
- Additional awards: CSC-2022, Do Quoc Sam scholarship and Sacombank
Duong Cong Son - the class president of class 64CS3 - Faculty of Information Technology - impressed everyone with his high achievements, numerous awards, and especially his proactive and enthusiastic participation in the CSC Award 2023 meetings.
