Students and faculty members of the Faculty of Information Technology participated in the International Online Conference on "Artificial Intelligence in Education and Research".
On November 1st, 2025, students and lecturers from the Faculty of Information Technology, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, participated in an online workshop organized by the VNDataScience group on the topic "Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Teaching, Learning, and Scientific Research" .
The workshop brought together speakers who are Vietnamese scientists working and conducting research in Europe, including:
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Khanh – Professor, ENIT – UTTOP, France
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Anh – Professor, USN & NTNU, Norway
Lai Hoang Le – PhD Candidate, Dublin City University, Ireland (Former Valedictorian of the IT Department - Hanoi University of Civil Engineering in 2020)
The program includes the following key topics for presentation and discussion:
• Applications of AI in teaching, learning, and scientific discovery
• AI assists in programming, data analysis, and writing research reports.
• Opportunities and challenges of AI in academia and research
• Ethics, critical thinking, and responsibility when using AI
• Connecting students, faculty, and experts in the Data & AI knowledge network.
The workshop created a vibrant academic exchange environment where students and faculty could update their knowledge, share practical experiences, and expand their network with international researchers in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
