Announcement of the Decision to Establish the Liaison Committee of the Alumni Network of the Faculty of Information Technology – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering
On November 13, 2025, the Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering signed Decision No. 2293/QD-DHXDHN establishing the Liaison Committee for the Alumni Network of the Faculty of Information Technology. This is a significant milestone, opening a new phase in the development of an ecosystem connecting the University – Businesses – Alumni, affirming the position and strategic direction of the Faculty of Information Technology in the context of innovation and deep integration.
The Liaison Committee consists of 21 outstanding individuals from the Faculty.
The Alumni Association consists of 21 members, representing multiple generations of alumni from classes 36 to 61, currently working at leading corporations, businesses, and technology organizations.
Head of the Committee: Mr. Tran Duc Lan – a former student of the 37th cohort, currently the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Alumni Network of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and also the Head of the Alumni Liaison Committee of the Faculty of Information Technology.

The strategic role of the Liaison Committee in the development of the Faculty of Information Technology.
The Liaison Committee plays a crucial role in connecting the community and building the IT ecosystem in Construction. It acts as a bridge between the University – Faculty – Businesses – Alumni – Students, contributing to the creation of a multi-faceted and sustainable support network.
At the same time, the Liaison Committee will work alongside the Faculty in improving the quality of training, expanding internship and recruitment opportunities, contributing to the training program, coordinating the organization of seminars, workshops, and career talk shows, and promoting a training model linked to practical experience.
With many members holding management and leadership roles in businesses, the Liaison Committee also contributes to promoting research, innovation, and business cooperation through connecting collaborative projects, technology transfer, developing joint research topics, sponsoring scholarships, and supporting student activities.
Strategic significance leading up to the 25th anniversary of the Faculty's establishment.
In this pivotal year leading up to its 25th anniversary, the establishment of the Liaison Committee is of great significance: it brings together community strength, creates a foundation for sustainable development, and builds an increasingly strong brand for the Faculty of Information Technology – University of Civil Engineering in the technology community.

The Faculty of Information Technology respectfully congratulates the alumni who have been entrusted with the role of the Alumni Association.
