A talk with representatives from Wyoming University (USA) at HUCE

The Faculty of Information Technology – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) is pleased to announce:

At 9:00 AM on Sunday, September 28, 2025 , in room 13H2 , there will be a talk, presentation, and exchange between representatives of the University of Wyoming (UoW), USA, and students, trainees, and faculty members, chaired by the Software Technology Professional Group and the DD & CN Construction Professional Group .

Introduction to the University of Wyoming (UoW)

  • A public university located in Wyoming, in the Midwest United States.

  • It is among the top 5% of research universities (R1 rating) in the United States .

  • Outstanding in doctoral training and research across a wide range of fields: engineering, computer science, geology, natural resource management, botany, and many others.

  • UoW combination:

Margaret McElligott, MSc – Head of International Admissions at UoW.

  • Currently serving as the Deputy Director of the International Scholars and Students section at UoW.

  • I have extensive experience working in the U.S. Department of State (Cabo Verde, United Nations in New York, Washington, Brazil, Mali).

  • I used to be a journalist at washingtonpost.com and AllAfrica.com .

  • Graduated with a Bachelor of International Studies and a Master of International Development from American University.

  • With her rich background and passion, she will share insights into global learning and career opportunities at the University of Wyoming.
