Today, September 28, 2025, the Software Engineering Group of the Faculty of Information Technology and the Civil Engineering Group of the Faculty of Civil Engineering – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) are honored to welcome Ms. Margaret McElligott from the University of Wyoming (UoW), USA, for a sharing session on postgraduate study and research opportunities.

During the talk, Margaret provided a wealth of useful information about pursuing master's and doctoral degrees at UoW in particular, and in the United States in general. The session attracted a large number of students who have graduated or are about to graduate from Information Technology, Civil Engineering, and other fields, as well as several faculty members interested in international collaboration opportunities.

Besides sharing her study abroad experiences, Margaret also expressed her desire to promote cooperation between HUCE and UoW – specifically between the Faculty of Civil Engineering (HUCE) and the Faculty of Civil Engineering (UoW), and between the Faculty of Information Technology (HUCE) and the School of Computing (UoW). This potential for cooperation will open opportunities for student and faculty exchange, and will lead to joint research projects, scientific conferences, and bilateral training programs. This will be an important foundation for HUCE students to have more opportunities to access advanced knowledge, participate in international research environments, and expand their integration capabilities.

The Faculty of Information Technology sincerely thanks Ms. Margaret McElligott for the valuable information and guidance provided to the Faculty and its students. We also extend our gratitude to Ms. Dao Ngoc Han and the Software Engineering team, in collaboration with the Construction and Development Engineering team, for organizing such a meaningful and practical international exchange.
