On October 23, 2025 , the Trade Union of the Faculty of Information Technology solemnly held its Congress for the 2025-2030 term in an atmosphere of enthusiasm, unity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Opening the program, Dr. Nguyen Bang Giang – Chairman of the Faculty's Trade Union – delivered the opening speech, emphasizing the significance of the Congress as an opportunity to review the past period of activity, acknowledge the efforts of all union members, and set forth directions and tasks for the new phase – aiming for sustainable, humane, and creative development.
Comrade Le Duc Quang served as the master of ceremonies , creating a solemn yet intimate atmosphere for the event. Comrade Nguyen Hong Hanh presented the report summarizing the activities of the Faculty's Trade Union for the period 2023–2025 , highlighting many noteworthy achievements: The Trade Union effectively organized cultural and sports activities, visited and encouraged staff , and successfully played a connecting role in caring for the spiritual well-being of the faculty and lecturers.
The Congress was honored to welcome Associate Professor Dr. Ha Manh Hung – representing the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering – to attend and provide guidance. In his guiding speech, he highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity, dynamism, and creativity of the Trade Union of the Faculty of Information Technology in the past period, and also suggested many directions for trade union activities in the future to become more practical, effective, and closely linked to the overall development of the University.
Following the keynote address by Associate Professor Dr. Ha Manh Hung, delegates and union members actively participated in discussions and contributed many practical and heartfelt ideas for the Faculty's Trade Union's activities in the next term. Many opinions focused on areas such as: strengthening the connection between union branches , innovating the format of activities , promoting the role of caring for the rights and spiritual well-being of union members , as well as boosting professional exchange and sharing activities, and enhancing solidarity and creativity throughout the faculty .
At the Congress, the union members elected the Executive Committee of the Faculty of Information Technology's Trade Union for the 2025–2030 term , which includes:

Congratulations to the new Executive Committee of the Faculty's Trade Union – those entrusted with the collective's faith and expectations to continue upholding the tradition of unity and creativity, bringing the Faculty's trade union activities to a deeper level and more closely linked to the overall development of the Faculty and the University.
The congress concluded in an atmosphere of unity, democracy, discipline, innovation, and development , ushering in a new term with many opportunities and challenges, promising new strides in building a strong, compassionate, and pioneering Trade Union of the Faculty of Information Technology in the era of digital transformation .
