After more than three months of exciting competition , today , Saturday, March 21, 2026 , the traditional FIT Football Champion 2026 tournament of the Faculty of Information Technology officially concluded with many captivating matches, moments of explosive emotion, and a spirit of passionate sportsmanship.
This year, the tournament takes place in a special atmosphere as the Faculty of Information Technology is looking forward to celebrating 35 years of training and 25 years since its establishment – a significant milestone in the faculty's development. Therefore, the tournament is not only a sporting event but also an activity that connects the community of IT students and alumni across generations.
🏆 This year's tournament brought together 28 student teams from various years and classes within the faculty. Notably, for the first time in the tournament's history, two alumni teams participated – CSV1 and CSV2 . Their participation resulted in high-quality matches and created a meaningful bridge between generations of IT students.
🔥 The third-place match was incredibly dramatic and exciting. Team 68TH4 quickly took a 3-0 lead against the combined team.
69TH2+69TH3 led many viewers to believe the match was already decided. However, with unwavering fighting spirit and high determination, the 69TH2+69TH3 alliance staged a spectacular comeback , scoring four consecutive goals to win the match 4-3 , ending the game amidst an outpouring of emotion from the spectators.
⚡ The final match between CSV2 and 70IS + 70IT2 was a captivating clash between the experience of alumni and the youthful energy of freshmen . With solid play, composure, and extensive experience, CSV2 secured a narrow 1-0 victory , officially becoming the FIT Football Champion 2026 .

🌟 In addition to team awards, the Organizing Committee also presented individual awards to recognize outstanding players who left their mark throughout the season, such as:
- Top scorer: Le Viet Anh 68CS3-TH2
- Best Goalkeeper: Ta Nguyen Quang Minh - CSV2
- Best player of the tournament: Dao Ngoc Chinh 70IS.

Students had the opportunity to meet and chat with successful alumni , listening to valuable insights about studies, work, and life – inspiring role models for future generations to follow.
✨ As part of the program, the Gala celebrating the success of the tournament took place in a vibrant, warm, and heartfelt atmosphere. This was an opportunity for faculty and students of the IT Department, along with alumni, to reunite , reminisce about beautiful student memories, and share stories about their careers and lives. The Gala was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a spirit of companionship between generations. At the same time, faculty and alumni also exchanged ideas and outlined plans for connecting and developing the IT community in the future.
