On the morning of September 25, 2025, the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Information Technology - Hanoi National University of Civil Engineering had a meeting and discussion with representatives of the University Blockchain Alliance (UBA), Dr. Do Ngoc Minh, Chairman of the Alliance, and MSc. Trinh Van Chung, Deputy Dean in charge, Faculty of Information Technology - Nguyen Trai University, a member of UBA.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the key digital technologies - the continuing trends of the IT industry in the context of a strongly developing digital economy. In particular, Blockchain was emphasized as a new foundational infrastructure, an open "public computer", allowing staff, lecturers and students to proactively study, research, cooperate and deploy practical applications.
The University Blockchain Alliance (UBA) with the mission of connecting faculties and schools across the country will play a role in promoting cooperation activities, sharing knowledge, research experience and Blockchain application. Through this, UBA supports lecturers and students in accessing, exploiting and developing new digital technology platforms.
The exchange took place in an open atmosphere, focusing on specific cooperation directions between the two units, especially in:
-Coordinating the organization of conferences, scientific seminars, and academic seminars.
-Promoting research cooperation, connecting experts and lecturers from both sides.
-Creating conditions for lecturers to exchange, learn, access new technologies, and improve teaching and research capacity.
-Expanding opportunities for students to participate in study programs, research and practical experience in a diverse and dynamic environment.
The meeting not only opened up new opportunities in connecting training - research - technology transfer resources, but also affirmed the determination to work together to build a strong IT academic community, connected with businesses and society.
The Faculty of Information Technology – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering affirms its determination to accompany partners, pioneer in approaching and applying new technology, creating a dynamic and modern learning and research environment, meeting the demand for high-quality human resources in the period of industrial revolution 4.0.
