2. Introduce training majors, training time, and degrees

2.1. Industry introduction

- Computer Science is one of the important majors at universities that train in information technology in particular and engineering in general. This is a major for young people who are passionate about in-depth research on information technology, meeting the requirements of information technology applications in the 4.0 industrial revolution.

-  The training program is built according to the CDIO approach  (C - Conceive, D - Design, I - Implement, O - Operate) to train engineers who are able to master and skillfully apply basic knowledge of information technology; Core knowledge of Computer Science; In-depth knowledge of data science, computer vision, natural language processing; artificial intelligence; Conceive ideas, design, implement and operate advanced information technology products and systems; Understand the importance and strategic impact of information technology development in society; Understand trends and applications of information technology in the 4.0 industrial revolution.

- The training program is imported from the University of Mississippi (USA) and adjusted to suit Vietnamese conditions.

-  Students are trained in Computer Science and do not study subjects related to the field of Construction (such as concrete, steel, drawing). Candidates applying for the industry do not need to have prior knowledge of programming or computers.
